Church of San Jerónimo. Royal Customs

In 1739, the Our Lady of Mercy Religious Order founded a school dedicated to San Jeronimo, whose construction lasted almost 20 years. Two years after the inauguration since a duly authorization was not granted and formal steps were not followed before the Crown, they were ordered to close and tear down. This last order was cancelled to approve the use of the building as headquarters of the Royal Customs, Tax Agency, and Stable for the Crown. At present cultural activities are performed in there.
